 CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES.

Controversial issues, are topics on which different groups have built irreconcilable arguments. Therefore, they divide society.

   WHAT IS A CONTROVERSY? 

A controversy is the discussion of opposing views between two or more people. Perennial areas of controversy include religion, philosophy, politics, science, sports, and even entertainment.



WHAT IS DISCRIMINATION?

It is the unequal treatment of a person or community for reasons of race, religion, physical, political, gender, age, physical or mental condition, sexual orientation, etc.1 In moral philosophy, discrimination has been defined as a “disadvantageous” treatment or consideration. This definition is comparative: a person does not have to be harmed to be discriminated against, he simply has to be treated "worse" than others for arbitrary reasons.2 The initial reaction or interaction that happens to a group influences the actual behavior of the individual towards the group. own group or its leader, restricts members of one group from privileges or opportunities available to another group, leading to the exclusion of the individual or entities based on illogical or irrational decision-making.

Most of the people affected by discrimination are individuals belonging to so-called minorities, small groups within a society, although there are many cases in which these groups are not small.



My position on the issue of discrimination is against it because even though we have different skin colors, or have different beliefs, we have the same rights and the same opportunities.

The right to non-discrimination does not mean that all people should be treated in the same way. In fact, in some cases, preferential treatment or positive discrimination could be seen as necessary in restoring the balance between opportunities, rights and protection offered to children. These methods are justified by the need to put an end to the consequences of discrimination and the resulting inequities.

  The unreal conditional. The Present Unreal Conditional is used when referring to unreal, imaginary or impossible conditions and their results. Both- If Clause and Result Clause, present the unreal result of the condition. Example:   *If I lived in the palace, I would give parties all the time. (But I don't live in a palace, so I don't give parties.) *If I had a car, I would drive everywhere. The verb in the If Clause is shown in simple past tense. In the Result Clause the auxiliary Would + base form of the verb is used.                                   NON-COUNT NOUNS Uncountable nouns (as their name suggests) are those that cannot be counted. Some common uncountable nouns are entities such as information, water, and furniture, or abstract nouns, such as happiness or anger.
